Dear Friends,
We signed a new lease for 12 months in Gresham. We are getting new carpet today as part of our agreement. Sarah was really upset about the blog I got on our old carpet, so there will be no blogging over the new carpet. I have to use a placemat and a tv tray. It's really weird. We have all of our beloved shit on the balcony, in the kitchen and in the bathroom. We are really enjoying only having coffee and the laptop for enjoyment. We talked about hopes and dreams today.

The way up Dog Mountain. This has nothing to do with our carpet being put in today, I just know the populace likes pictures. We hiked this about 6 weeks ago. I met Matt Phillips on the way down by happenstance. I was surprised. So was he. Have you ever seen someone you were not expecting to see in Japan or Germany? Maybe somewhere farther away (Mars). I love my brother, and my parents and my new sister in law. (and my grandmothers). Sarah too.

I enjoyed hearing about your day. I think you have a nice apartment so another year is a good thing. I still wish you lived closer. I'd be a bad mom if I didn't! Tell Sarah I love her.
