I don't see many of you. I miss you. With all the zooming through life and the gas prices (crisis) we don't get to commune much. So, if this is the way we communicate I guess I'll keep trying. Most of you look better than my laptop, though.
we live close and i am not working. we shall have dinner soon. i will cook. you can meet brody. do we live within biking distance? you and sarah should get a bicycle built for two and ride it over to our house? if you started in the early afternoon you could make it by dinner - right?!
I vote you change your settings so your newest posting comes up first. Just a thought...
I am faraway but you and Sarah could ride your tandem bike to Alabama too. Let me know when you leave... I will probably have the baby by the time you get here.
Hey Chris! It's your sister in law...you know, Kellie! We sort of know each other. I too am missing the gang, or just people in general I suppose, and thought i would join in on the world of blogging. Not sure how i feel about it yet. I think it depends on the quality of the comments I recieve. I'm finding that I prefer humor, because really, how much depth can you have with God knows who is reading this thing? You got a funny one from the cleary family...its an amusing concept and i rather enjoyed reading it. What do you prefer...comedic or serious blogging?
Just a disclaimer. I wrote the above statement before i read your entry on Time. Wow. I have changed my decision. You opened my eyes to a new way of blogging, single handedly. Well done. Your insights into the tradegy of of our bondage to time was incredibly convicting and compelling. Unfortunately, I fear I would be very much like those who pass by the wounded for fear of being late. I would hope and like to think that I would be different, but would I really? Aren't the small things in life a reflection of how you act in the grand and "noble" things in life? If indeed the Fall of Man come through an action concerning a peice of fruit, a seemingly small and trivial thing, then I think we are all in a bit of trouble concerning the values and eyes of our heart. At least I know I am. It is haunting to think of the people I have passed by all in the great name of punctuality. "What a wretch I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen." (Romans something or other...i think chapter 8?) Thank you Chris again for your lovely insights...they are much appreciated!
